Evangelism Challenge # 8: Share PSD Facebook Posts

Facebook can be used as a very powerful evangelistic tool. One simple way to do that is to share the content posted on the Palm Springs Drive Church of Christ Facebook page.
Most every day I post a verse of the day, along with an attractive image that has the Bible verse on it. These posts are perfect for sharing with your friends because they’re short, uplifting, and visually appealing — not to mention straight from the Bible. At the end of these posts I usually include the short message, “Schedule a Bible study (in person or via Skype) today,” followed by a link to the sign-up form on the website.
I also post short videos from time to time. Brian has many excellent 5-6 minute videos on his Youtube channel that I post. Sometimes I post snippets from our sermons. Sometimes I post short videos that I have created using Powerpoint. The shepherds have even purchased a professionally made video called “The Bible in Three Minutes,” which I posted recently to the Facebook page. That video is also featured on our website.
There are other kinds of posts you will find on our Facebook page, but you get the idea. They are all created with the intent of being shared with those who are outside of Christ.
I encourage all of us — I challenge all of us — to make a concerted effort to share at least one post this week from the PSD Facebook page (and hopefully every week from that point forward). You can do that simply by clicking the “Share” button at the bottom right hand corner of any post. You’ll have the option of adding your own message about the post.
I pray that our efforts in this regard will be fruitful and will bring honor and glory to God’s holy name.
