Evangelism Challenge: Reach Out to an Unlikely Prospect

Evangelism Challenge: Reach Out to an Unlikely Prospect

Recently Brian used Uber to get a ride to the church building from the auto shop, where he left his truck for some repairs. When he arrived at the building, he invited the driver to visit services, handing her a church business card. She said, “You probably don’t want a lesbian coming to church with you,” to which Brian responded, “God loves everyone. Jesus died to save us from all of our sins. We’d love to have you anytime!”

This week’s evangelism challenge is to reach out to someone you think would never be interested in the gospel. Don’t judge them unworthy of the gospel based on their looks or their lifestyle or anything else. That isn’t our place. Let them choose for themselves. The least you can do is give them the opportunity.
