Evangelism Challenge: Try Your Own Idea
Evangelism Challenge: Try Your Own Idea
As I said in my other article, in evangelism action beats inaction every time. We should do something instead of nothing. Even if we think our idea is terrible.
Brian likes to do street preaching. I think he’s crazy (just kidding). It’s going well for him, and I admire his boldness. Some brethren like door-knocking. Some preachers I know set up information booths at events. One PSD member has done mass mailings, inviting people to services. Another PSD member who has passed away used to host regular Bible studies in his neighborhood, advertising with a sign in the yard. I prefer community Bible studies organized through meetup.com.
There are a thousand ways to do evangelism. Do you have some idea you’ve always wanted to try, some method to reach the lost you think might work? Give it a try! If you need the help and support of your brethren to implement your idea, ask them. I’m sure you’ll find many brethren willing to support your effort.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” -Philippians 4:13
