Marriage Challenge: Communicate Your Love in Meaningful Ways
When you and your spouse were dating, it was exciting to utter the words “I love you” over and over … and over. You went to great lengths to write love letters and cards expressing your affectionate feelings for one another. Then, after the wedding (or, rather, after the honey moon), if you’re like most couples, you let those vital habits slowly fade away.
Don’t let that happen. Your spouse needs to hear and read how much they are loved. Often. So here’s your new marriage challenge: Reaffirm your love to your spouse verbally or in writing at least once a day for the next two weeks. Be creative. Go to some trouble to communicate your love in memorable and special ways, if possible. Your marriage will be all the better for it!
